Aisha Jamila Hinds is one of the famous American actress. Her fame is due to her roles in the TV series The Shield, and True Blood. Since her first appearance, she has shown her range of talents by appearing on shows like Under the Dome, 9-1-1 Detroit and 1-8-7. The first time she was noticed was in 2005 due to the role of Anna, as seen in Assault on Precinct 13 She was first recognized for her part in the biographical 2005 movie All the Way. Hind is also being praised for the role she performed in the role of Harriet Tubman within WGN America's historical drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television announced that the series is scheduled to be renewed for a second season. Bachchan had been studying architecture, won the title of Miss World in the year 1994. She was catapulted into modeling's top lane by the title. She also received a lucrative contract from L'Oreal Paris as spokesmodel in 2003. Her acting career got off well with praised parts in Iruvar (1997) and Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (1997). The two films challenged the traditional structure that characterized Bollywood films at the time which pushed Bachchan to prominence in Bollywood's New Bollywood. Bachchan made her a queen of Bollywood with her portrayal of Paro the betrayed love in Devdas, (2002). Devdas was among Bollywood's biggest successes. It also was the first film to screen at the Cannes Film Festival. In the following years, she was praised for her role in Chokher Bal (2003) which was a tense thriller based on Rabindranathtagore's novel. She became the very first Indian actress who served on the jury of Cannes Film Festival that same year. Bachchan appeared in Gurinder Chedha's Bride and Prejudice. This ballet-based musical reimagining of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice is directed by Gurinder. The beauty and star power of Bachchan was brought to the very premier major film in English. In 2006, she returned to Bollywood with her hit film Dhoom: 2 before releasing Provoked: The True Story (2006). Abhishek Bachchan is an Bollywood actor and often co-star.
